In Module 2 we worked a lot with perodic tables and elements. My favorite activity we did was the interactive perodic tables that you would color. This taught me more about the element's form, family and its activity. It also was fun to do.
The first periodic table you colored the elements according to their family/group. Groups included were the Alkali Metals group, Alkali Earth Metals group, Transition Metals group, Superheavy metals group, Rare Earth Metals group, Actinide Metals group, Boron group, Carbon group, Nitrogen group, Oxygen group, Halogens group and Noble Gases group.
The second periodic table you had to color the elements according to if they were a solid, liquid or gas. Most of the elements were solids. There were very few liquid elements but even less for gas elements.
The third periodic table you had to color the elements according to if they were man made or naturally occurring. Almost all the elements were naturally occurring but there were a few that were man made. The elements that are highlighted with red are radioactive. Not many elements were radioactive.
